everything here was absolutely delicious and it hit because we were craving good sushi! we loved the variety of options, and the sushi's flavors and ingredients were incredibly fresh. there was a good amount of seating, and the service was quick.
I came across this place by accident. But what a great accident this was. I was trying to find another sushi spot on Wilshire with a similar name but this restaurant popped up. To My surprise it was closer to me than the other place i was trying to order from so i decided to give them a try. I ordered a teriyaki bowl and wow i was amazed from the food to the presentation to the packaging. Very very professional for a small business. Everything was packaged so well and my online order was done right one time. My food was nice and hot still when i picked up and the service was so nice. I cant talk much about the dining experience as i got my food to go but the service for my Togo order was great. The portion for the bowl was huge and i was able to share the bowl between me and my mom which was around $17 for my brown but very well worth it.
Roll Call has all different types of rolls from the classics, multiple types of fish, and cooked as well. Not only do they have rolls but they also have yummy appetizers and bento boxes. Every roll had a little amount of rice and stuffed with fish. The prices here are amazing and I can't wait to tell my friends and family. Definitely a bang for your buck and how sushi should be! Pro Tip: park in the validated parking structure, it's free ;)
Roll Call Sushi is a great and affordable sushi restaurant located in Koreatown. Parking was easy as there was a parking garage located right around the corner free of charge. The Mistress roll was our favorite, every piece came loaded with flavor and the jalapeno slices on top were a nice spicy touch. We also tried the Spicy Tuna and the Side Chick, both great rolls and the sushi tasted very fresh. Always have to try out the tempura, so we went with the Tempura Sampler in addition. The tempura batter was excellent adding a satisfying crunch to each bite and wasn't overly battered. The restaurant was clean and the staff was friendly. Our rolls only took about 15 minutes until we were able to dig in. Can't wait to come back and try more of their specialty rolls!
Everything was incredibly fresh, beautifully presented, and packed with flavor. The fish literally melts in your mouth, and you can tell the quality is top-tier. If you love sushi, this place is a must-visit. I'll definitely be coming back again
